i love how every time i read a recipe review on allrecipes.com it's always like, "i loved this recipe! all i did was swap this for this, take out this ingredient, add this ingredient, this ingredient, and this ingredient, and cooked it for an extra 20 minutes. it was perfect thank you!"

i made a greenhouse putz today :)
gonna keep working on it when i have a little more time, as i'd like to make proper stone floors and maybe hang some plant outlines inside the greenhouse so when it's lit you see the silhouettes.

sometimes it's more fun to think about things to buy than actually buying all of them.
it's just...i had some very poor years in my 20s, i was living alone and connecticut is a very expensive state to live in, but even more so when you're paying for everything yourself. so yeah, that struggle stays with you and makes you cautious of what you spend.

i just can't wait to build my video store!!!

i'm still dry for my actual art, that's why i keep doing these fun portraits for the shop. at least i can work on my skills and make money, takes pressure off the fact that every time i sit to work on ART, my mind goes blank.

there was this little shop in the Hamden Plaza back in the day called Sasson's Boutique, and it was my FAVORITE STORE. the walls were covered with stickers like this, and inside were all these super kawaii looking plastic things you could get customized with paint pens. they also sold cute pens and pencils and markers, pencil cases. oh, i just loved that damn store.

i hope that's how it works
